Picky, so you don't have to be.

About Nitpick

Nitpick finds the catch before you buy. Every post picks a winner, says who it's for, and names the downside, because every product has one and most reviews pretend otherwise.

The bird is an oxpecker. It sits on rhinos and picks off the ticks. Useful, slightly cheeky, always perched on something bigger than itself. That's the job here too.

Who's behind it

Nitpick is run by one person who builds things for a living and got tired of review sites that rank whatever pays best. The rules here are simple: every pick gets a catch, nothing gets a perfect score, and no product is ever recommended because of its commission.

How posts are made

An AI research agent we built reads the current reviews, user reports and spec sheets, drafts the post in the house format, and publishes on a schedule. We say so plainly because you deserve to know. We don't physically test products, so we lean on what many independent reviewers and real users consistently say, and every post lists where we looked so you can judge for yourself.

The full method, the scoring scale and the update policy are on How we pick.

The drawings

The icons and the bird were drawn in-house, one path at a time. They're loose on purpose.
